He was the calm one. He was the man who moved slowly and with purpose, taking life in stride. He didn't rush. He didn't hurry.
There are some that can pinpoint the very moment they knew. A moment that crystallizes in their mind. The moment they realized that the person they're with, is forever. For Shani, that moment came when her tire blew out on the highway. Kris was in classes all day, but she sent him a text telling him what had happened. He got there fast. So fast, that she knew that this calm man, had to leave class and run out of the building to his car. He flew to her side and assured her that he would take care of everything.
And he did.
I'm beyond thrilled to be shooting their wedding day next June. If their engagement session is any indication, their wedding day is going to be amazing.
Before the session, Shani mentioned she wasn't photogenic. Guess what Shani, I'm happy to say you were mistaken. You rocked this session like a pro!
I loooooved how prepared Shani and Kris were for their session! They came with awesome outfits and accessories. Between Shani's awesome shoes, and Kris's bowtie, I was in heaven

Luna: Newborn
Two weeks ago, I had the honor of meeting 6 day old Luna for my very first newborn session. This gorgeous girl was wide awake for her session and made amazing eye contact the entire time! I truly can't wait for another chance to work with her!
Enjoy!

Tamara and Rhody: Engaged
There's something innately refreshing about being in the country. Tamara's family owns hundreds of acres of gorgeous countryside, and allowed us free reign of the land for their engagement session. We started out the afternoon in the vineyard and traveled through the farm in a whirlwind of laughter, love, and (very minimal) bug swatting. It was a good day.
Tamara has the most GORGEOUS eyes and loooong hair.
As we made our way to the front of the property to finish up our session, I spotted the most AMAZING field with lush grasses and deep purple flowers. I simply couldn't resist.
I can't wait to shoot Tamara and Rhody's wedding this November (not to mention visiting this gorgeous property again for Tamara's bridal session)!
Happy Tuesday!

Sammy Davis
Introducing Mr. Sammy Davis.
Or Cream Puff. Or Sammy-ammy loverkins bear.....yeah, it's like that.
I'm not traditionally a "cat" person but he's seduced me with his fluffiness, his baby-powder smell, and three-octave purrs. He's pretty impressive.

Sisters: Anytime
Meet Amanda and Nicole.
We spent our afternoon wandering through town, exploring backstreets, and laughing. We laughed at life, cheeeesy jokes, and each other...ok ok...we laughed at me. I always wanted a sister. Always. There's something intimately special having your best friend under the same roof. (Someone to borrow shirts from and squeal over the latest boy band) Their playful teasing, the giggling, the banter all gave way to a solid bond.
Thank you for giving me a glimpse into your lives!
Enjoy!
